Over two dynamic weekends this April, OIFW welcomed hundreds of aspiring and experienced models to CityArts Gallery in Downtown Orlando for its official casting calls for the June 6 runway shows. What unfolded was more than auditions. It was a reflection of what makes OIFW different.

From first-time participants to returning talent, families, creatives, and industry professionals all stepped into a space designed to do one thing first. Make people feel seen.

The atmosphere inside CityArts Gallery was intentional.

Models of all ages and backgrounds moved through the casting process in a space that felt supportive, not stressful. Team members engaged directly, offering guidance, reassurance, and direction. Families felt comfortable. First-timers felt included. Returning models felt valued.

Simple details mattered. Clear instructions, accessible staff, and a smooth flow throughout the day helped create an environment where participants could focus on showing up as their best selves.

Outside of casting, the experience extended into the space itself.

CityArts Gallery provided a vibrant artistic backdrop, with local artists present, networking with attendees and contributing to the creative energy of the day. Participants gathered at the café, connected with one another, and became part of something larger than an audition.

A Creative Ecosystem in Motion

Casting weekends brought together more than just models.

Over 20 photographers and videographers were on-site capturing content, building portfolios, and documenting the experience. Florida National News (FNN) was present for media coverage, conducting interviews and capturing the energy of the event.
